Admission Procedure
Candidate applying for admission in RCEM must read the following instruction carefully:-
Admissions are accepted as follows:
A) In semester mode for
1) January – June Session
2)
July –December
B) In yearly mode for
1) July-June Session
Admission
is granted to individual candidate against application submitted to
RCME, on the prescribed original application form filled up and completed
in all respect by the candidate himself/herself special care should be taken to
fill up the form legibly in black/blue ink and in capital letters only.
There should not be overwriting in form. Mandatory column must not be leave blank.
The candidate
should ensure before submitting the application for admission that the chosen course
is offered by RCEM. Candidate should fulfill the eligibility condition as shown
in the latest prospectus for the relevant course. Required eligibility documents
must be attested.
Candidate will have to abide by the Rules & Regulations/Terms and conditions as laid down by RCEM from time to time.
Eligibility:
To meet the eligibility criteria, mark
sheet/degree/diploma/certificates should be issued by a recognized university/board
/institute or concerned statuary authorities are accepted.
Photocopies of the documents duly notarized/attested by a gazette officer and self attested by candidate will be accepted. The same should be verified stamped and signed by RCEM.
If any deficiency is found in eligibility or in information provided by you.RCEM reserves the rights to accept or reject any admission.
If a candidate appears in any examination without having proper eligibility or without paying requisite fee his/her result of the examination will not be declared. Examination will be canceled and no fee will be refunded.
During the
process of eligibility verification, if any candidate found having submission a
forged certification , not only his/her admission will be cancelled, but also that
candidate will be debarred form appearing in any examination of University.Legal
action will also be initiated against such candidate.
If the eligibility document(s) of a candidate is/are not found genuine, at point of time. The admission and examination(s) passed by candidate is/are liable to be cancelled without any liability on the part of RCEM and the entire fee paid, will be forfeited.
CREDIT TRANSFER AND LATERAL ENTRY
Lateral entry shall be allowed only in the programs where the same is specially
mentioned. Candidate who are pursuing form other universities can continue their
remaining part of the programs form RCEM. Lateral entry shall not be less than 50%
of the total duration of the course.
Candidate otherwise eligible for the course and interested to take transfer from other university under the provisional will fill up the regular application form and also include transfer fee of the Rs.1000 and other fee mentioned in the prospectus.
The candidate will also clear remedial examination, if any of the papers which are not equivalent to the course/syllabus of RCEM. The candidate has to pay Rs.1000, course fee, enrollment fee and examination fee for the remedial examination.
For appearing in unmatched paper the candidate must fill and submit the separate reappearing due paper form available on the RCEM along with the main application form and can appear for the mismatched paper or remedial examination, if any along with the main examination.
For registration and examination purpose, for the entire course migration certificate will not be required. However for lateral entry or credit transfer facility migration certificate issued by the competent authority of the concerned university/board and a certificate issued by the head of the Institute, should be attached by candidate.
FEE & MODE OF PAYMENT
Complete fee deposited in RCEM.Candidate must deposit the forms and complete must
within the last date announced. The candidate shall procure a single demand draft
for the total amount shown in fee statement for the required course like admission
fee, course fee, late fee, bridge course, lateral entry fee, credit transfer fee
and any other fee applicable.
Draft must be payable in favor of “Ramesh College
of Engineering & Management” payable at
Name of Student, Father’s Name,couse,semester should be clearly written at the back
of each demand draft forwarded to the RCEM.The purpose of the draft must should
also be mentioned e.g. ‘provisional certificate fee’/ ‘due paper fee’/’re-evaluation
fee’/ re-registration fee or any other fee as applicable.
Candidate will submit the duly filled application form, complete in all respect,
at his respective center along with notarized/ dully attested eligibility document
and demand draft, and he/she should take acknowledgement from the center for verification
at any point of time.
RCEM will not refund the fee(s) once the admission-cum-examination form is accepted.
In case an application form is rejected on the account of incomplete information/fee/ineligibility,
the fee deposited by the candidate shall be refunded after deducting the Processing
charges of Rs.800 in each case.
The RCEM does not take any responsibility for the postal delays or loss of document
in transit.
Fee prescribed is for current session. Fee may be revised from time to time and
the same will be applicable to new and existing candidate.
EXAMINATION
The medium of examination will be English/ Hindi only.
The examination fee as prescribed is to be paid along with the registration/re-registration.
Each candidate shall be examined according to the scheme of examination and syllabus
as approved by the university. The RCEM reserves the right to change the course/curriculum
whenever necessary.
Examination will be conducted in or about the month of June/ July and December/January.
Examination center s where ever established, will be intimated one month before
the commencement of examination, venue of examination will be intimated one week
before the commencement of examination.
The time-table is put on campus well before the examination. The examination schedule
and admit cards are dispatched directly to the students. If any student does not
receive nay information in reference to the above, he/she should immediately contact
the examination section of the RCEM.
In some cases, candidate(s) is /are given provisional roll number as the eligibility
documents are either not submitted or are under verification. However it is not
a conformation of his/her admission .Admission can be cancelled or annulled in case
of any deficiency found at any stage.
Candidate must carry their admit card to the examination center without which they will not be permitted to enter in the examination hall.
EVALUATION
Evaluation system is as follows:
a)
Internal assessment (continuous evaluation 30%)
b)
Practical examination, as prescribed in the syllabus.
c)
Term and examination (70%).
Each paper shall consist of 100 marks.
Continuous evolution is done through assignment, practical and viva at the RCEM.
Final examinations are conducted by the university at the end of the semester/year.
Performance of the candidate is evaluation based on internal assessment and final
examination, individually.
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT FOR PROJECT
30% of the total performance of the candidate shall be evaluated through internal assessment.
The candidate must submit regular assignment for each course every semester/year
in RCEM.
The practical examination (where application) will be held at the RCEM.
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT FOR PROJECT
Candidates should submit their project synopses to the head of their center along
their full name, program title, center code and enrollment number, latest by date
prescribed for the purpose.
The head of RCEM will decide the date for submission of the project report and date for project presentation/demonstration.
Project report should be submitted both I hard as well as soft copy to the university.
RESULT
Result will be put up on the RCEM notice board as soon as those are declared (in
usual course with in 60 days from the last date of examination.)
RCEM reserves the right to withhold result (s) for making enquiry, as it may deem fit and to take appropriate action against the candidate (s) and / or the center in case the information furnished by the candidate and verified by the center is found to be incorrect /false beyond any reasonable doubt, the university will take appropriate action against one or both.
RCEM will dispatch the marks card directly to the respective student.
Whenever a correction is requested, the application for the same should be forwarded with a photocopy of the document duly corrected in red ink along with the original document, un-tampered, without which the request will not be entertained.
RE-EVALUTION
A Candidate can apply for re-evaluation
of his/her answer copies (only for two papers) through an application, along with
the prescribed fee of Rs.500 per paper, within 15 days from the date of declaration
of results. Request for re-evaluation of answer copies of due paper(s) or back log
paper(s) will not be accepted.
PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE
A Candidate, who has successfully completed
all semester /years of a course, can apply for the provisional certificate by submitting
the following.

A prescribed
format is to be filled and forwarded to the university.
Ž
Photocopies
of all marks cards issued by RCEM.
Ž
In case
of lateral entry or credit transfer the marks card of the respective university
should also be provided.
Ž
All
marks card forwarded to the RCEM should be self attested by the candidate, notarized
or attested by gazette officer and verified by the head of concerned study center.
Ž
Enclose
a demand draft Of Rs.500 along with the application, in favor of “
DUPLICATE DOCUMENT
For issue of the duplicate copy of
any accountable document. An FIR with the relevant police station authority is a
pre-requisite. Each application for a duplicate document along with a copy of FIR
should be submitted to the university along with a fee of Rs.500.
AWARD OF DEGREES/DIPLOMAS/CERTIFICATES
All degrees, diplomas and certificates will be awarded by respective university.
IMPORTANT NOTES
In the event of any declaration needed the decision of the principal will be final
and binding.
The candidates are advised to connect the office of RCEM from time to time to keep
them selves abreast of the latest development.
Reproduction/Printing of any RCEM document is illegal and cognized offence.
